This excursion takes place in the eastern sector of the National Park, an area renowned for its rich history and cultural significance. It showcases conglomerate rock formations adorned with ancient cave paintings, created thousands of years ago by the nomadic Aonikenk people.
Participants will embark on an educational hike highlighting the culture, history, and rock art of the Aonikenk people. While wildlife sightings may occur, the primary focus is on exploring the region’s historical heritage and gaining insight into animal behavior.
In the latter part of the trip, we will visit the Laguna Azul sector, which provides a unique vantage point of the iconic Paine Towers set against the stunning natural beauty of the area.
We provide travelers with trekking poles, helmets and give them a reusable water bottle.
