This exclusive Patagonia Camp excursion offers a tranquil opportunity to explore the pristine forests of Southern Patagonia. It begins with a scenic 20-minute drive from the hotel to the Grey Lookout, followed by an ascent along a trail with breathtaking panoramic views of Torres del Paine.
Following winding paths through ancient forests and lagoons, we are rewarded with stunning views of the Paine Massif, Grey Glacier, a section of the South Patagonian Ice Field, and the Serrano Valley. As we descend through a series of hidden lagoons, we navigate a ravine adorned with Pre-Andean shrubs and lenga forests, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Serrano Valley.
*For this excursion, the use of trekking poles is mandatory; the hotel provides these items for its guests.
After a short briefing and sorting our lunchbox and snacks, we will get on the road to reach the trailhead. The terrain, known as “Patagonian Flat,” offers gentle ups and downs through forests, with a few ascents leading to the final, majestic lookout.
We provide travelers with trekking poles, helmets and give them a reusable water bottle.
