At Patagonia Camp, we aim to provide unique experiences in close contact with nature. We are thrilled to introduce our new self-guided Forest Therapy trail, inviting you to explore and connect deeply with the surrounding environment.
A trail of calm and connection
The trail, 0.6 km round trip, is designed for you to explore at your own pace. Just steps from the hotel’s main entrance, this trail offers a serene and immersive experience. Along the way, an audio guide will accompany you, helping you to tune into every corner of the forest. As you progress, you will pass several carefully placed observation stations, each designed to provide you with moments of reflection, tranquillity and connection with nature.
Forest Therapy, also known as shinrin-yoku, is a Japanese practice that has been shown to have numerous health benefits. By immersing yourself in the tranquillity of the forest, you lower your cortisol levels (the stress hormone), improve your mood and strengthen your immune system. In addition, this conscious immersion in nature can reduce anxiety, increase concentration and promote a more restful sleep.
Before setting out on the trail, scan the QR code available in our common areas or in the information folder inside your yurt to download the audio guide.
Then, inform the reception desk of your departure. There, you will be given a key, which should be placed on the designated holder at the trail’s entrance. This system ensures others are aware that the trail is currently in use (maximum capacity: 6 people).
For your safety and to fully enjoy the experience, we recommend using only one earphone to listen to the audio guide. This allows you to stay aware of your surroundings during the excursion.
